In our story today, the disciples experienced the amazing majesty of Jesus, the incredible presence of God on the mountain. They heard God’s voice in the clouds telling them to listen to Jesus. They saw Jesus shining in glory. Their response was that they just wanted to praise and worship Jesus. The story is found in Matthew 17 and Luke 9.
