The Rescue

“The Rescue” is a puppet-based music animation series, which explores the greatest rescue of all times.

The Rescue

Time to Begin

Mel and Chloe dive into The Book to learn about Jesus’ childhood and His cousin John the Baptist. Meanwhile, Mr. King gives Jack advice on handling challenges. The King family reflects on Jesus’ temptation in the wilderness, realizing how “The Book” can help us resist doing the wrong thing.

The Rescuer Arrives

Mr. Simons’ house is glowing with a spectacular Christmas light display! The community gathers for a special Christmas Eve program, celebrating how God fearlessly carried out His plan to send His Son “The Rescuer” to save the world!

The Dream, part 2

Jack faces a serious meeting with his parents and Mr. Adams regarding his conflict with Kade. The King family discovers the powerful story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who stood up for their faith even when facing the fiery furnace.

The Dream, part 1

A visit to the library leads Mel, Allie, and Jack to fascinating prophecies about the future. They learn about King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream and how God’s plan unfolds through history. Meanwhile, Mr. Adams takes notice of the growing tension between Jack and Kade and decides to step in.

Good News

Caught in a conflict with Kade, Jack considers getting even. Jono’s dad shares the story of Isaiah, who warned the Israelites about the consequences of their actions. They are reminded that choosing God’s way leads to true peace and happiness.

Choices Have Consequences

Mr Adams shares with Kade what happens when a kid called David teams up with God to take on Goliath. Mr and Mrs King make the decision to accept the Rescuer and follow His plan for their lives.

Not the Best Choice

Mel faces a tough decision—a shopping trip or whale watching with family. Through the story of Israel’s request for a king, the King family learns that God gives us the freedom to choose, but choices have consequences.

The Fiery Serpents

Mel and Allie take a shortcut, but Mel kneels too close to a bull ant’s nest! Meanwhile, Kade is surprised when Mr. Adams checks on him after a wasp incident. The King family reads about the bronze serpent God provided to heal the Israelites from deadly snake bites.

In the Desert

Scruffy is injured after getting hit by a car. As Mel and Jack learn about responsibility, they also hear about the Israelites’ struggles in the desert and how they constantly complained despite God’s provisions. Meanwhile, Jono’s dad shares some important health tips.

Very Stubborn

Kade’s actions lead to unexpected consequences after he orders Mel and Allie off the park bench. The children learn about Pharaoh’s hardened heart, and just as the Israelites faced challenges, Scruffy also finds himself in trouble when someone leaves the gate open!

In Egypt

At the library, Mrs. Jones introduces Mel and Allie to a book called The Rescue. They uncover the story of Moses, who played a crucial role in God’s rescue plan for His people.

Needing Rescue, part 2

Melody’s mission to adopt Scruffy is a success! Allie visits Jono and discovers that God has a way of turning bad situations into something good—we just need to trust His plan of love.

Needing Rescue, part 1

When Melody sees a poster about a dog in need of a home, she launches a plan to rescue Scruffy. Meanwhile, Jack apologizes to Jono, and they learn about Joseph—a man who was falsely accused but still trusted in God’s plan.
